Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the CineIntel Africa website and platform (the "Service"), operated by Symbiosis LLC ("Symbiosis", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes third-party rights.
• Do not attempt to probe, scan, or reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation.
• Do not use the Service to send unlawful, harassing, or deceptive communications.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or audit logging.

Customer data and confidentiality

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service. You grant Symbiosis a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We treat non-public customer data as confidential.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, interface, and content produced by Symbiosis, is owned by Symbiosis LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or brand assets.

Fees

Access to the platform is provided under separate written agreements with each customer. Pricing, payment terms, and service levels are set out in those agreements.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Market data, demand signals, compliance guidance, and impact metrics are informational and do not constitute legal, tax, investment, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for independent verification before making commercial decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Symbiosis and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars or the fees paid by you to Symbiosis in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to Symbiosis, our customers, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
